How you can sort through your offers and pick the best one for you.

Today is part six in my video series on the home-selling process. Let’s talk about receiving offers.

Not too long after you market your home, you will hopefully get at least one offer. You might get more depending on the market. At this point, you want to sit down with your agent and make sure you truly understand the offers.

One might give you more money, but their loan may be shaky. A cash buyer might offer less money, but they could close quickly. There are a lot of different things to keep in mind, so make sure you go line by line and understand how each offer compares. In my experience, price isn’t always the deciding factor. For example, most people would rather choose a pre-approved buyer over a pre-qualified buyer.
